Most you would give up to dump Upton’s entire contract?

Upton would be moveable for another bad contract, like Trevor Bauer's.  The Angels management, however, seem content to let that bad contract play itself out.  

The 30-ish millon dollars that fall off when that deal expires will more than likely be spent on Ohtani.  

If we do decide to add next winter, Trae Turner will be a FA.  Dream big or go home.

This is a moot point. Nobody wants Upton and he can deny a trade anywhere. Best bet it to hope he is league average. If not expect him to be released at some point.
