Advertising on uniforms

Funny that there was a time when advertising plastered all over a stadium was only for the minor or bush leagues.

On the high end, Emirates pays Barca 280m over 5 years and on the low end, MLS teams get anywhere from 2-5m per year. 

I have to think it will be somewhere in the 20m per year range for the high end teams - especially one that has Trout and Ohtani.  

While I'm personally not a huge fan, I think I can get on board if it means an additional 20m in revenue per year that can go to additional payroll.  

It really only matters in the context of how much more or less than Angels can grab from their deals than the rest of the teams in the league. If anything this probably gives Arte another reason to go for the big splash.

i don't understand how we've reached a point where this is even considered as an option. leave the uniforms alone.

Every time I see a clip from 2002 the first thing I notice is how the stadium didn't look like shit back then.

I would have been fine if the players still held out to keep advertising off uniforms.
