Wowzers a sweep would ignite the fan base and get us back into contention. 

I'm calling for a 2020 Bundy performance tonight. 

I know being a fan makes us set ourselves for disappointments, but I honestly feel if we sweep and get Walsh, Trout, and Rendon back for the final run we're a dangerous team.

Incredible, crazy sick optimism, but as they say, that's why they play the games.

I think we have a better chance at a sweep than the three players mentioned returning any time soon.

Not sure I would use 'dangerous' to describe the Angels.

I'm always hoping for it, and anything can happen, but the 2021 has been kind in removing any doubt as to the Angels being a good team or not. 

When they play legitimately good teams, the Angels lose.... a lot.  When they play bad teams, they won a lot. And when they play mediocre teams, it's a mixed bag. 

The A's are a legitimately good team and are in a dogfight for the playoffs and have upgraded their roster this deadline.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I'll be surprised if the Angels win more than one game between now and Monday. 

That's just how it is, the Angels are a mediocre team.

Good young starters that came only after the old crappy ones dug them in a hole. Terrible bullpen. One of the worst anyone has seen. And an offense that would be really good if Trout, Rendon and now Walsh were actually healthy. But they aren't, so it's more ok than anything.

Those two posts don't contradict each other Taylor. Try reading them again. I'm not saying the Angels need to sell. I'm saying the Angels need to reallocate.

Beating the A's tonight should have very little impact on that, but I get what you're saying.

If the Angels are winning after 1 inning, they're buyers. If they're losing after 3 innings, they're sellers.
