Barria, since he came up, has been the youngest starting pitcher in MLB. He may still be that, even with call-ups elsewhere. The Angels have been very careful with his pitch load and the stress of particular innings. He finished today with 85, which for him is still pretty high. He has thrown a few more occasionally. But I think he started those innings with a lower count/

Yes, but when you think this way you can’t have outrage at the manager.   It is obvious he is mismanaging instead of him managing the workload of a young pitcher.
