As usual, words of wisdom. As I write this, Nolasco gives up another homer.

Get nolasco outta there. I know we do not have anyone to eat up as much innings, but anyone can go out there and give up a run or two each inning they pitch.

Scribner is worse, Skaggs appears to be worse, Chavez was worse.  I don't like the guy, I wish we had better options, we don't.  Hopefully Richards can be an option.

We pretty much know what we'll get from Nolasco. Crap.

It's September. We don't need a guy to just eat innings. I'll take a guy who can pitch 4 good innings over anything Nolasco will give us.

In absolute terms, Ricky is NOT the worst guy out there. He is not far from it. But there are starting pitchers all over the map with 5-plus ERAs. lots of bombs given up and records at least as bad as Ricky's. None of those guys are pitching (currently) for the Angels. Ricky has tied JeDi's guy Miranda for homers. But Lackey, among others, is right there. Bombs are the main scoring strategy this season.
