We could trade Vermette and be a better team after.  He sucks and gets put out there all the time to lose or get kicked out of the faceoff circle.  Then he's stuck on the ice as the other team skates around that cone.  How the hell are you a faceoff specialist, and have a 45 fenwick and corsi?

yea i mean, i think trading vermette on its own isn't indicative of what direction Murray is leaning.  The decision is going to need to be made soon though.

Vermette has a limited NMC that lets him veto trades to 8 teams. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Florida teams on there.

I noticed that RC is not putting Vermette in for defensive zone faceoffs nearly as much lately.  Seems like all of his value to the team is gone, not sure what they would get for him in a trade though, maybe a late round pick?  Maybe a 5th or something.

Done.  Better to take away RC toys before he decides to put him on the Getzlaf line again.

vermette sucks but those faceoffs are important in playoffs.

guys like him and bieksa and beauch you keep around and try to minimize their damage and then let them do their thing in the playoffs.
