Seattle, however, unfortunately stands to cut Baltimore's grip on the second WC slot to just a half game after Toronto's win today.

Marte is a poor fielding left fielder, Cron isn't much better at first and Halo Heaven ranks Escobar as the worst fielding 3bman. We could really us some defense upgrades.

I'm fine with Escobar as long as he's batting over .300, we've needed a guy at third who can lead off with a good average for a while. I don't think that will happen consistently though, I think he's just batting well this year.

Cron is doing better with the bat, but every time I watch him he just looks so uncoordinated.

It looks like Trout really wants those 30 SB, but he was thrown out by a mile on that attempt.

Trout just needs 1 HR and 3 SB to finish the year with 30 HR, 30 SB, 100 RBI, 100+ Runs, 100+ BB. He also has a .320 BA, .442 OBP, 1.003 OPS, 177 OPS+, and a 10.5 WAR.

If they give the MVP to anyone else it would be so unfair.

Never make the 3rd out of an inning at 3rd base.

That's the old adage. But hundreds of runners every year make the third out at third. It's not that unusual.
