With the payroll and the players on this team and how weak the AL west is we should have easily won the division. That this team is scratching and clawing and hoping for a playoff spot is inexcusable

 

Maybe you missed the crapfest of errors inning what has been punctuated with a bullpen that is ineffective? Please, take a look on baseball reference and look at the quality level of the starting players then factor in all of the scrubs that have replaced them and their value to the collective. Then look up the league averages for hitting, fielding and pitching and tell how the **** the Angels made it to today's game having any meaning at all.

How are you guys upset at Arte for not wanting him on the team? He tried to get him suspended and that didn't work. So he had almost no other choice. He wasn't staying on the team, he had a no trade clause. So what if they released him, guess what Arte would be paying him even more money to play for Texas.

Pretty much every second Hamilton spent in Anaheim was spent swinging at crappy off speed pitches in the dirt, so instead we find his minute wheelhouse and keep throwing him stuff there.
