Angels now tied with Minnesota 1.0 games back of the second wildcard.

 

Minnesota plays Kansas City this weekend.  Aside from being a division rival, what incentive does Kansas City have to beat the Twins?

Not sure how much they care but they definitely have some incentive to win.

Would the Royals actually invite the possibility of facing the Twins in the playoffs?  If they did, I think the Royals would destroy them.

Dallas Keuchel is the starter for Houston tomorrow night.  Arizona is sending Rubby De La Rosa with his 4.56 ERA.  That doesn't look good at all.

Dbacks have incentive. Keuchel was quoted as saying he wants to celebrate in the Dbacks pool when clinching a playoff spot. Apparently Dbacks want no part of that since the Doyers did it to them in 2013. Bulletin Board material

KC has about 4 starters banged up with minor injuries.  Looks like they're day to day, so not too sure if Yost will risk playing these guys with the division already locked up.  Sounds like he's talking the precautionary approach.

Texas hates us and they're not going to take their foot off the gas like the 2014 AL West Champions did. They will stay prepared for the Buzzsaw teams.

The Diamonbacks have plenty to play for. 1) Not allowing anyone to celebrate in their house, 2) What better way to end the season than to play spoiler and finally 3) Keuchel went on record as saying that he wants to party in their pool.
