Collin Cowgill, CJ Cron, Pujols, Trout...and Calhoun too

I would like it a lot better if Cron were hitting 6th, Iannetta 7th and Aybar 8th, but if this is all I have to complain about, the team will have a great season.

 

I'd like Cron to hit 4th eventually.  Trout, AP and Cron is a tough 2,3,4 for any pitcher.

It better not. I'd rather see Cowgill play every day than Matt Joyce.

joyce is going to have a great year and he will be clutch.  cron is going to have a breakout year....looks like shoemaker will could have a solid 2nd year......i think we will win the division again.  hopefully get to series...you never know when the 500 million in contracts decide to crap the bed like last year???   crazy

crap....i was fooled.  wtf happened. 

 

i am not sure cron has taken a pitch?   he looked so comfortable in spring.  

 

i did not realize joyce was such a liabiltiy in the field.  

 

i think they will come around in the hitting....

 

i like the way john g is playing....not as well as kendrick of course who looks like he can finally contend for the batting title we once hoped for...maybe its just playing for the angels for some guys.

The downside to Cowgill was his 2nd half regression in 2014. He is an ideal 4th OF though, with his skill set.

Didn't he get hurt and was out for a month or so? That could explain his bad 2nd half.

Yup. Broke his nose and a finger on a bunt and was out for a while.

I would like to give David Freese an honorable mention.  He looks different to me this year.  He had that hazy deer in headlights look last year.  This year he looks much more engaged and focused.  

 

It's amazing what effect a contract year can have.
