Surprised LeBlanc wasn't left on to counter Gordon or Hosmer in a key situation.  Nice to Pestano awarded for his good performance

Basically Pestano was chosen over LeBlanc, which I don't like, because LeBlanc can eat up innings if need be.

 

We already have Morin, so Pestano to me isn't as vital.

Really think Mcdonald should have been on the roster.  I like seeing him come into games late to take over for Freese, his defense at third can help finish off games.  

 

Also wanted to see Campana.  We dont have any legit speed guys or base stealers.  Campana should have been taken over Navarro, we already have an excess of 1B.

Ibanez has approximately the same chance of getting a big PH against you off the roster. We are all relieved that Ned dropped him for the series.

Probably, but Ibanez has alwyas killed the Angels, regardless of how shitty he is. Seriously, check his career stats vs this team. He always kills them, and he killed them when he was on the team(by sucking)

How do you all think Weaver will do on short rest? It's too bad for us that Shields had to pitch the Wildcard game, because I could see Ned doing the same thing with him, if he started game 1. I don't trust any of our other guys on short rest.

I hate the 3-man rotation. Weaver pitching on 3 days is always a disaster. Hate it. God we had better swing the bats very well. 

 

I hope that isn't the plan if they move to the next round.

I'm surprised that they would go with Weaver on short rest, not usually a good idea unless we're down 2 games to 1 and there's no tomorrow.
