Just checked the Oakland Tribune site. No mention of any cancellation.

 

The 49er's exhibition game at their new stadium in Santa Clara is also on, for 1 PM. Engineers are inspecting the stadium right now for any signs of damage. Santa Clara is 75 miles south of the epicenter, so everything's probably fine there. I would assume they're inspecting the Coliseum too.

Yeah, but isn't a lot of that area near the bay on landfill? That could certainly have an effect even at that distance from Napa.

from that distance a 6.1 wouldn't be strong enough... by the time it reached O.co it was too weak to be of any help in demolishing that rat hole. we needed it to be at least a 7.
