In their 19 inning game with Toronto (WTF is with all of these long extra inning games throughout MLB in 2014?), the Tiggers relievers allowed only 2 runs in 12+ innings despite allowing TWENTY-THREE base runners (including ELEVEN BB's).

 

Additional question: are all of the long extra inning games in MLB this season mainly due to so many teams having lockdown pens?
