This past home stand gave me more hope in a promising outcome for the rest of the season, that's for sure. I can't wait for the ten remaining head to head games the Angels have with Oakland.

I always look forward to games with Oakland, and doubly so when they're important and both teams are competing for the division.

Angels-A's matchups are almost always hard fought and nailbiters. We dont like them, and they don't like us

It's great to see Efren Navarro become a hero with several clutch hits including a walk off. After this homestand Navarro has more home runs at Angel Stadium this season than Josh Hamilton

Not that the team should be gunning for a WC spot, but we now have a 9.5 game lead for the second WC spot. Basically, it would take an epic meltdown to not at least get to game 163.
