If you had any understanding of how the entire world had changed post World War 2 you wouldn't be bringing up 1948 as an argument. In fact, had you been around then, at the age you are now, you would be cheering the return of of the state of Israel. It would be progressive and right to establish a homeland for the disenfranchised in their ancestral homeland. 

But now, you gotta follow a terrorist organization because you've been told they are the oppressed. Even though they are funded by Iran to destabilize the Middle East at any cost to the Palestinians themselves. You're kind of a dumb guy.

In 1948 the UN allowed Jews to displace Palestinians who had been living in that land for thousands of years. And today, Israel continues to displace Palestinians.

The Holocaust was unconscionable but there should have been a better way to provide reparations to the affected Jews.

Wrong again. The protesters have blocked students from areas of the campus and assaulted them. I bet the majority of those assholes don't attend UCLA or any other college for that matter.

I wouldn't go as far to say it's paid players here but there are those that are just looking for a cause to rage and act like an asshole over. I'm willing to bet many at these protestors have no clue what they are even protesting for. This is all a big waste of time and energy. If someone is dumb enough to attend one of these protests or encampments, then they shouldn't act surprised when something bad happens to them. The Universities encourage this behavior so let them deal with it.
