We all would be. It's sad. Best we can hope is after year 6 or 7 he decides enough is enough. Not happening before year 5 IMO

One thing about the Pujols at bats that bothers me is he's already made up his mind on pitches right down the plate and takes the whole way. Bat on the shoulder for a ball in the strike zone, flail on a ball low and away out of the zone.

The original trade that Towers proposed was Eaton and Skaggs for Trumbo. Dipoto asked if he could flip Eaton to Chicago to get Santiago and that's how the 3 way happened.

After a rough start of the inning, that was a pretty masterful pitching performance to end the inning.  LITTLE WEAVER!!

In a way we did.  Diamondbacks was willing to give up Skaggs and Eaton for Trumbo.  We wanted another pitcher so back he was sent to Sox for Santiago.  We could have asked the Diamondbacks to dangle him to other teams to see if we could get another pitcher.  Although Santiago is in AAA, I still think he will be a good pitcher.  He reminds me of Lackey his first two seasons.
