Can someone who knows our prospects tell me what happened to this kid? He was a big guy, and was our last pick in the 2009 draft. He had 19 at bats in the AZL that year, but hasn't had a minor league at bat since. I am curious as to what happened with him but can't find anything on the internet.

Not sure what happened in 2009 when he stopped playing in the Angels system. In 2012 he was a student assistant for the Wiley college baseball team. In 2013 he played 1B on the team as a sophomore.

Lots of prospects don't even make it to High-A ball.

I think there is something more that went on. The team wouldn't release him for no reason just a year after signing him. Must have been a behavioral issue or something, because it looks lime his numbers were good (albeit in a very small sample size).
