Anyone who is still awake and has nothing better do, the 66ers have quite the playoff game going

Tied at 3 in the 13th inning of a game in Lancaster that determines who goes home and who moves onto the Championship.

 

66ers have put together quite the display of stranding runners, but have also seen their pitching do quite the job of getting out of jams.

I just hope the winning team doesn't go crazy with the champagne.  They will play tomorrow... and six of ten Cal League teams made the playoffs.    

 

Actually, I wish I could celebrate a mediocre year like that.

Leadoff single for Delino DeShields Jr. and a popped up bunt that Kelley can't catch or make an out on. Runners on 1st and 2nd no outs.

 

He really likes living on the edge apparently.

DeShields steals 3rd, and Borenstein gets to play the infield with bases loaded and no outs after the IBB again.
