Hiller was amazing last night, the Bruins could've been up 2 or 3 to 0 after the 1st.  It was so huge that Hiller kept the game at 0s in the 1st.  That may have been the most opposing team fans I have ever seen in the Honda Center, especially in the lower bowl on the half where the Bruins shoot twice.  We Ducks fans held our own though, great atmosphere on a Tuesday night!

Yeah, I noticed that there were a lot of Bruins fans there.  Typical CA fans supporting Boston teams.

LOTS of Bruins fans. Especially in the bowl and the Bruins shoot twice section just like Bob said. Lots of them flooded out after that 4th goal though. It was a beautiful sight haha. They were pretty loud but we definitely kept with them and went over them. Damn socal chowds.

Oh also, I picked up my Stadium Series jersey at the team store. 200 bucks with the patch and all. I love the jersey.

Nope. Its a plain jersey. They didn't have the number/lettering yet at the store.

This team. Never out of it no matter what. Teemu finally getting on the board! Put together some assists recently and now the goal. Hope he starts to heat up in the 2nd half and in the playoffs.

Interesting news. This Ducks news twitter account just tweeted out that John Gibson was called up today. Still waiting for full verification, but if its true... Damn!

Its official! John Gibson called up and Freddie Andersen sent to Norfolk. He might get the start on Sunday on the 2nd half of the back to back at home against Detroit!

Man, I have a family function Sunday evening and can't go to the game, if that is Gibson's 1st start I'm gonna be so pissed I can't be there!

So I was in Vegas this week since a buddy had CES passes.  I did the personal cardinal sin.  I bet on the Ducks.  I even told the lady at the sportsbook, I'm betting with my heart, and needed her help in trying to make a bet.  Then I'm wandering around the casino, and there goes the Ducks, down 1, then down 2.  A few explatives, and cocktails, and pissed off gambling later, and I look back at the TV, and they are up 4-3 in the third.  So I head over to the sportsbook to watch the end.  

 

My bets.  

Ducks -1.5  Where the hell was the empty netter.  Dammit

Ducks Parlay.  Over 5.5 goals.  Straight Ducks win.  

 

So I ended up.  But man.  This is why I hate fantasy sports, and betting on my team.  Because it's no longer about being a fan, but being financially in it.

 

Oh, and over thanksgiving, I had my friend put a future on the Ducks.  Got 16-1 on the Cup.  They are now down to 10-1.
