Price has been an absolute stud. Unfortunately, I think other teams will offer more than that package. 

The control has been ridiculous since he returned from the DL, at one point having ONE BB in 48 innings span.

 

Trumbo would thrive in that solid hitting oriented park in Tampa, just 313 down the LF line.

However, I agree we have too many outfielders and have no problem dangling them for trade bait.  We also may have a major league ready 2b in Green so Kendrick should be dangled.

 

Now that said, you are offering three successful major leaguers and a minor league prospect for one pitcher.  Two of the three major leaguers have already been All Stars.  I say that is too much!

I know we are down on our team, but I think we are grossly under-estimating the value of our players.  Kendrick, PB, and Trumbo should bring us three solid major league pitchers, not one super star that can turn mediocre with one tweak of an elbow or shoulder.

 

We can replace all three, but Kendrick was an all star and should have been one this year.  Trumbo was an all star and will produce 30+ HR's his first three seasons with the Angels.  PB is the premier defensive CF in the league and has shown he can hit over 300 this year.  If we trade all three we should get 2 major league ready  pitchers and at least one solid major league prospect.  And that should be a minimum.  Granted Price is a stud, but after watching so many players fall off, I would say we would be giving up too much.

Why give up Profar for more pitching when they could resign garza and Harrison will be healthy and Perez will have a full year under his belt. Plus Price is expensive and a FA in 2 years. Thats more of a LAA type trade..

Garza will be as good as CJ Wilson if resigned. Plus you get something for the decent prospects texas gave up
