What are your favorite memories from the black Angel players? 

GA's game 7 double is a top 5 moment all time for me. Figgy's awesome season. And Torii is the GOAT.

Thanks for making this thread, tdawg.

As a kid, my favorite player was GA. He was always so cool, calm, and collected. His heroics in the 2003 ASG and HR Derby were awesome even though his season kind of derailed after that. Then, I remember the game where he had 10 RBIs. I didn't get to see it because it was during my New Student Orientation as a freshman entering college.

Figgy, Torii, and now Jo Adell are some of my favorite all time Angels. I'm still hoping and pulling for Adell to become a solid regular player, even if he isn't the superstar we all hoped.

I'm genuinely not sure if Bobby Abreu, a Venezuelan, would consider himself black. His double off the green monster in the playoffs was so epic.

Yeah that was weird. No way do you leave Carew off.

It could be that since 90+% of Jamaicans are of African descent that they're included as African Americans?
