That is a good question.

They would have 4 true starting OFers anyway when Trout returned in 2-3 weeks, until Ward went down.

Two days to trade deadline, time to add an OF to one more reliever to acquire?

Their strike-out rate with RISP must be insanely high.

And you don’t know what effect it will have on him….some guys seem to bounce back ok but others struggle to regain confidence….
