They better get their act together fast and win this series. And do something against the Dodgers. Padres are 8 games below .500. Can't lose another series to a weak team. The Astros are now 2 1/2 games up on the Angels. The second half schedule is really tough. The break may be pretty depressing if they keep sliding into irrelevance.

Good teams don't leave runners on base this much. Maybe a handful of games each season where they leave over 10 guys on base. The Angels do it once a week.

Nope.  Too many holes.  We're in a situation where EVERYONE needs to hit on all cylinders and that just rarely happens.  Rendon thinks he's Chuck Knoblauch in the field, Detmers is stepping up but Sandoval has decided to become a whiny bitch, Trout has no more plate discipline because he's afraid of fastballs up in the zone, the bullpen speaks for itself, Urshela cracked a pelvis stepping on the first base bag (first time in MLB history?), Fletcher can hit any pitch but the exit velocity would be legal in a school zone, we've already established that Renfroe eats his own diarrhea, Rengifo takes the short bus to the games...
