I said it was a horrible signing on day 1. Angels always go for these starters with big money but not quite big enough for an ace. So they throw middle of the pack money $13M per year for a replacement level starter after one outlier year.

From 6th in starting pitchers' ERA last year to 22nd this year. From 3.67 to 4.77. Everyone is worse.
