The Angels were rolling at the time but that walk-off 3 run homer in Oakland against Iglesias stands out. That one hurt. They won the next two against Oakland after that to win the series but I think they then went on to get swept by Texas and then the 14 game losing streak happened.

Season (on TV) was over (for me) when O'Neal was handed the alternate PBP role.  Memo to new ownership...hire Vasgersian full time or equivalent professional PBP guy.

Agree with spirit, Iglesias was never the same after that A's 3 run walkoff.  Subsequent sweep by a bad Texas team was the precursor for the losing streak.

If I'm not mistaken, Vasgersian has other commitments that run through next season that preclude him from doing Angels games full-time.  I'm not sure what, if any, kind of under-the-table deal they made with him beyond 2023.  I would imagine that'll probably be another thing that the new owner(s) might decide (i.e., whether or not to proceed with him full-time).
