The Fundraiser-In-Chief's work is not done

Recommended Posts

Fundraiser-In-Chief will be in Santa Monica today for a DNC fundraiser.  Good time for a getaway.

Allah be praised I don't live in his fundraising territory any more.

For those of you that live or work in West LA, the FIC will arrive this morning.  Roads near San Vicente west of the 405 will be shut down from 1-3pm.  The good news is, it's Friday, so traffic should be light.

Not sure how he's getting to Palm Springs.  Hopefully he's using Santa Monica airport for a helicopter ride and will be staying off the 405 to LAX that time of day.

These jaunts could pay for a lot of health insurance for some of us who've had our rates raised.

It would be a Southern California trip without DR posting about it

I hadn't commented on the last couple Fundraiser In Chief visits.  Today's trip is on a Friday, however, so it seemed like a pretty good idea to let people know in case they're in the area.  Having lived in that section of West LA I know first hand it needs no help getting fouled up traffic-wise, especially on a Friday.  If I had to be there, or needed to get to LAX in the afternoon, it would want to know.  I was supposed to fly out of LAX at 4:30 today.  Luckily, the trip has been canceled.

Apparently they added a speech about how California should be the model for state health insurance exchanges or something like that, so it would be less obvious that the trip is for fundraising.

Interestingly enough, the company I work for is backing out of CA individual exchanges because the cost is ridiculous.

  • 5 months later...

Today's LA/Hollywood adventure by the Fundraiser-In-Chief is strictly for fundraising purposes.  Magnificent.  While his administration and signature project are falling to pieces, the F-I-C determines that fundraising and hanging with Magic and other celebreties is more important.

Never underestimate the power of celebrity and cash.

Everything my brother, formerly of the US State Department, told me months ago about the F-I-C has rang true the last month:  head in the clouds, doesn't like taking anyone's advice/always 'right', does not like putting in the hours necessary to be President, likes the bling associated with the title, and typically passes the buck to underlings when there's a problem.

At the time, I thought what my brother (more liberal than conservative) said was a bit exagerated since he was so fed up with the State Department not heeding his advice and requests for help, etc..  Now, his description fits too well.

My brief assessment of this dork is this: He keeps saying "I didn't know" (Benghazi, NSA, IRS, AP, Obamacare) - can you imagine a CEO of a major company making that argument?  So, if he doesn't know he is incompetent.  A professional manager has to know.  If he does "know" and just lies, that is just as bad.  He's incompetent.

Sorry libs, you have backed a loser.
