Some of you put Salmon in LF and he never played there.  Just saying.

 

PIcking "favorites" is never easy.  Everyone has a different reason for why a player is a "favorite."  It's very subjective, obviously.

It was tough leaving Mike Trout off the list, but Torii Hunter is simply my all-time favorite player.  Growing up, Robert Clemente was my favorite and Bobby Grich was my favorite Angel - but it all changed when Torii Hunter came on the scene.  I loved the way he played the game. AND he was tremendous with the fans.  Every time I had a chance to see him in person interacting with fans, I always walked away smiling.

If I had to rank my favorite Angels of all time, in order, regardless of position it would be:

1. Torii Hunter

2. Bobby Grich

3. Jered Weaver

4. Bengie Molina

5. Troy Percival

That being said, I am an absolute huge fan of Mike Trout and when all is said and done with his career - he could very well become my all-time favorite.  Just not yet.
