Talked to my sister on Friday. She will be on duty at her hospital when it hits. The rest of the family is undecided about evacuation (at least as of Friday evening). My cousin who lives north of Atlanta has offered them a place to stay if they decide to leave. It appears right now that the worst will be well south of them, but as big as these storms are, there is no such thing as unaffected if you live on the Florida peninsula and it gets hit.

My doctor friend in Jacksonville is under mandatory evacuation. He's been called in today to work at the hospital for the duration of the storm, and to compensate him for his time they gave him Thursday off, haha.
