RIP Maclcolm Young

"Malcolm Young, guitarist and co-founder of AC/DC, died Saturday at the age of 64. Young had been suffering with dementia for the past three years, an illness that forced his retirement from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band he founded with his brother Angus Young in 1973."

64 is so young.  His brother got all of the glory, but Malcolm was as good a rhythm guitarist as there ever was in rock.

I saw them play 25 years part and they hadn't lost a step. Malcolm was a huge part of the energy they created.

Saw them 3 times, once at a Monsters of Rock in West Germany. My favorite band. Sadly Malcom's really been gone for awhile. Not a way I want to go.
