I think the worst part is that we gave up Austin Adams for him (the good one we drafted and developed). Adams' stuff and minor league numbers look similar to Bedrosian's this year, albeit with less fanfare because he wasn't a first round pick and his dad didn't win the Cy Young.

Off season acquisition is going to get half a year to find his stroke.  This is especially true when the alternative is Pennington.

That's just sad to read.  A casual baseball fan would look at our team and think we had a similar payroll to the A's.  So frustrating what Arte is doing to our favorite team.

Ok, I won't say stop it, I will just say, what the heck are you talking about?  Moreno had a hand it releasing an underperforming player?  IF for some reason that was went down, then good for Arte.  We should all thank him.

Yes, I guess he deserves credit for that, but if Adams becomes a bullpen ace I am going to be pissed.

Sorry I am online right now reading the board and responding when you basically asked me to respond.  Austin Adams had plenty of years in our system to figure it out.  He was just a guy, a guy that threw hard, but wasn't a difference maker.  He walked a ton of guys.  I hope the best for him, but he wasn't great.  To trade him for Espinosa now looks stupid, but it doesn't mean he is any good.
