Had Bourjos been in this game and Trout in LF, the two hits that fell in during the 1st inning would have been caught. Bourjos would've also been less likely than Shuck to leave 6 players on base.

Strained his hamstring in that 19 inning game last weekend running out a bunt. Before that was leading the team in AVG, OBP and SLG while playing excellent defense.

Now that Wells and Hunter are gone and Trumbo is at 1B, Shuck is our backup outfielder.
