It's actually quite possible this will go through.  From one thing I read, the Time Warner Cable is not included in this deal.  They are trying to buy the entertainment side, like Warner Bros, CNN, etc.  So as conflicts go, it might not be as much as people think.

This will go through. AT&T and Time Warner give a lot of coin to politicians so they can get deals like this approved. It'll certainly get President Hillary's blessing.
