California Adventure's Tower of Terror is closing.

My daughter and I went on it countless times.   Sad to see it close (Guardians of Galaxy ride replacing it).

One of my favorites down in WDW Orlando, where it is remaining.

I do think all the detail and attention to the Twilight Zone theme is lost on the younger generation.

It's just getting a facelift I believe @Angel Oracle  They are changing the theme to Guardians of the Galaxy.  A lot of it had to do with a rights issue with the estate of rod Serling.  Plus this is the first step to making that area into Avengers land.

And no offense AO but your title is kinda misleading. They're not tearing the thing out and starting over, it's called a re-theme.

Which IMO it sucks they're re-themeing the ride but Tower of Terror CA is not even close to the original in Florida. Even though I love the one here dearly. Even if it is a watered down version I was always so happy to have it right in my backyard. 

The idea is the park is going to have a Marvel themed area in the future, so this ride will at some point be involved in that.
