Player of the game has to be Bernier.  If it wasn't for him holding par for half the game, we were done for.  Do you go Bernier for game 4 or go back to Gibson?  Bernier looked like a rock, hardly ever leaving his feet.  And swallowing all pucks thrown at him.

What are the chances the Ducks play the Ottawa Senators for a rematch of 2007 ?  Vermette was on that Ottawa team that year.

Calgary blowing a lead like that means they are done, how can they come back after blowing a 3 goal lead & being down 0-3 in the series ?

Washington is down 1-2 lol. What a waste that team is finishing with back to back presidents trophys.

In each of the last 2 Duck wins I've watched a Calgary filmed TV show called "Wynonna Earp" on the same night, a good luck charm as well ?

Also when Wynonna kills a supernatural baddie in it they get sucked thru the ground thru flames into hell.

No way do you bench Gibson after just this game. None of the 4 goals yesterday were his fault and he has yet to allow a soft goal. Pulling him was the right move to try to motivate the troops but you got to start him Game 4.

Yeah.  Bruce's idea of tinkering would have been putting Perry and Getzlaf together.  I love that Carlyle was doing a Rakell/Perry/Thompson line.  Just because he thought they were the most effective.

Benching Gibson wasn't for his performance. It was to send a message to the team to get their heads out of their asses. It worked! No way Gibby isn't in net tomorrow.

And agree with Corey.  Gibson will/should be back in net.  The Ducks were getting blitzed.  Bernier played well but the Ducks were also playing much better in the 2nd half of the 2nd period and certainly in the 3rd.

Gibson starts no question. It wasn't hit fault we looked like dog sh*t the first half. 

This was a very clear showing of RC vs BB: bruce would not make changes on the fly. Remember the hawks series? Coach Q changes, and we fail to respond and just hand them the cup. RC says alright this is clearly not working, let's move kesler off the monahan line and pair up thompson with perry. And it worked.

Also, notice we got 0 PP. Zero. And we kept getting penalties called against us (they had 5 PP). But we didn't freak out and get off our game and start taking bad penalties. We just kept going. And you had that feeling that eventually we are gonna pot a couple. But with BB it was always such an emotional drop the second we were behind or lost a game. It was that "omg we lost, what if we lose the next one, and the series?! f*ck it's over. let's just go home, ugh we tried." 

With RC it's like oh they scored, whatever. It's that scotty neidermeyer vibe of "just forget it and keep playing our game."

We are seeing why they canned BB and brought in RC. And I'll give RC credit he's been super smooth behind the bench lately, no yelling. He's all grown up!

Also this is without fowler and vatanen! Montour and Theo are looking good. Hampus looked meh yesterday but that's OK. Plus Elliot looked awful.

And I'll add - gaudreau and giordano are way overrated (at least from watching this series). But monahan is legit.
