I think it's more mismanagement of money than leadership.  Josh is a nice luxury to have but when your pitching can't even hold down a lead with one of the better lineups in baseball then obviously you should be investing in another area.  Torii is beasting this year in his cushy spot up in Detroit and is a fraction of what Josh costs.  The Angels offense was more than fine without Hamilton.  Now your going to have Pujols and Hambone tying the organization down for the next 10 years or whatever it is.  Kind of like the massive contract we gave A-Rod back in the day.  Or like the awful contracts the Mets gave out in the 2000's.  The Mets farm is just now recovering from that horrible management.  

100 percent agree. At least about the Hamilton as a luxury. I agree that his money should be spent elsewhere/ saved for a certain OF's extension. However, this bullpen is in shambles right now due to injury. Once Madaon, Jepsen, and Richards are returned to the pen, we will be fine. It is the rotation that needs to be worried about and even that should be middle of the pack or slightly below league average. This team will be fine

I am just wondering what our teams record would be if all was healthy.

You can never count on health, it happens to all teams. A better GM would have had some pitching depth, or some pitching.

This team is worse right now because half the team is on the DL.

Aybar, Callaspo, Jepsen and Weaver were hardly productive early on either. Lots of teams battle through injuries but that's when depth is tested, we are proving we don't have much currently. With that said, not sure we have a much better record with them around right now anyway

Wow last night everybody was excited but now the team is in terrible trouble. Don't get the logic. Everybody is acting like this team will cease to exist soon. The team that shouldn't exist right now is the Texas Rangers, they were the ones that were bankrupt and good old Selig came to the rescue.

The frustrating part is the fact they don't seem to be learning from their problems. Particularly the pitchers.

Yep. The Doyers have had much worse luck as far as their starting pitching health but they are playing from a position of strength and don't look as bad moving forward as the halos do.

No. Madson is unknown at this point. Jepsen is Jepsen, never sure which version you're getting. And Richards should not be in the pen to begin with
