I can't be sure since nobody's come up with a reason I'm wrong, but I'm getting that calling hard-core leftists "anti-American" is untrue. Let me ask the liberals here, then: Are Republicans anti-woman, racist, xenophobic, or homophobes?

Our poverty is different from poverty in other countries or our past. In other countries, you can do everything right and be poor. In the US, you either have to have a long series of bad luck, make some very bad life decisions, or be a shitbag.

It's a fact that there's virtually no poverty among people who do four things: marry, work, graduate high school, and avoid crime.

It can't be a real problem because there's usually an actual solution that people can agree upon. Real pollution, for example, was pretty much fixed with a little tech and a little will.

Have you guys ever wondered how there can be whole cities where the minority of people have a working head of household while, at the same time, millions of people with no skills (not a knock on them, just a fact) or knowledge of the language come here, work, and are able to live more or less a decent life?

Go to your local soup kitchen or homeless shelter. There might be hungry people there. Unless they're imaginary or dedicated crisis actors.

the U.S. government of course since they want more of your money so you wont be able to give to other charities.
