I know it's early, but a nice silver lining considering the really bad start to the season.

 

As good as the A's and Rangers have been, we're only 5 games out.

I predicted 12-15 at month's end after the disaster of a start. Its possible if we keep playing like this.

Better than 7 games out after 13 games played. I do agree though it's pretty sad that we consider being in 3rd place a silver lining...

 

 

That said, after 10 games when we were 2-8 I thought starting the year 6-14 through the first 20 was a pipe dream. We could better that by winning tomorrow. My prediction for April overall (before the season started) was one game below .500, even that could happen if the team plays the way they have this series.

As bad as this year's start was, last year's was probably worse. Weren't we 6-14 at one point? Pujol's poor start last year was also probably a bit worse than Hamilton's. At least Hamilton has a couple of HR's at this point. That being said, this team has still been an embarrassment up unto this point of the season.
