Ive been trying hard to trade Stoner in NHL 16.  Even if I give up all my first round picks for the next decade, nobody is willing to take on his contract.

Bob Murray's worst moves in his history as GM:

Trading for Wiz to only flip him later for a shitty 5'10 back up goalie who doesn't cover enough of the net.
Had they kept Wiz he 99% likely doesn't get that bad injury he got in Carolina, instead of trading for 50 year old Bieksa.

The Stoner contract.

 

After they trade Andersen, I'd honestly rather they have Barbera be brought back to back up Gibson than Khudobin.

They might as well play with an empty net than 5'10 Khudobin out there.

He is our only forward who didn't have to clear waivers. Maybe it's just a temporary move until the goalie situation is somehow resolved. Clearly we aren't going to carry three goalies forever.

They should NOT fire Boudreau imo, time to hold the players responsible.

Time for something crazy:

 

They need to light a fire in the players, take the Captaincy from Getzlaf - make him earn it back by shooting the puck more & less turnovers.

 

Take the Alternate captaincy away from Kesler. as good as Rakell has been at topline LW, perhaps have him Center the 2nd line to demote Kesler.

If Getzlaf still doesn't turn it around after this, demote Getzlaf to 2nd line Center role.

 

Either that or they need to start tanking for next years draft.

Losing to the Hurricanes or Coyotes, they don't deserve to make the playoffs if they lose to those losers.

Beleskey only has 3 goals but Palmieri has 13.  Guess I was wrong about him.

 

This team needs finishers.  They are so inept at scoring it is pathetic.  Murray definitely didn't do a good job this off season.

I really thought Silfverberg was going to have a lot better year. The guy has a shot. He just seems unable to hit it in game play. Mental?

I don't know where Cogliano's offense went to, but we could really use 15 goals this year from him. 

Hagelin. I can't get over the thought I had when we signed him. The talk was all about how fast he was, but needed to get better at finishing his breakaways. "Sh!t. Well, maybe he is just developing". Not so far.

 

I've been pleasantly surprised by Horcoff. I thought he was washed up and just a fill in until Thompson got back. He's still a real good 3rd 4th line guy.

Santorelli has been ok for a 3rd 4th line guy.

Rakell is my new big hope for an offensive threat (but, I'm seeing next year here)

Horcoff, Santorelli and Stewart have all done their job, considering what they were signed for.  They have outperformed the likes of Cogs, Silf, Kes.

this is probably indicative of a very weak goal tender trade market.  not good for the Ducks.  Also, kind of depressing that we may end up with literally nothing for wiz and karlsson.  

 

It was such a sad trade. Trading Wiz for a 5'10 undersized backup goalie....if Wiz had been in Anaheim that fate of getting season ending injury doesn't happen & if they kept him they wouldn't have to make that Bieksa trade. Wiz can play physical like Bieksa in addition to his 45-55 points per season.

 

Lindholm/Wiz

Fowler/Vatanen.

Manson/Stoner

Basiclly running with a stronger Top4 to boost scoring than the balance thing they did in the playoffs.
