What is so successful about losing to a team that has 

 

1) Not been to the playoffs in 30 years

 

2) Has a payroll about 60 million lower

 

3) Barely squeaked in as the Wild Card team with 89 wins

I guess we all define success differently.  IMO Angels had a good year.
