So what is the word on Andersen's injury?  Right now, it seems our postseason is riding on it.

I thought that if a team was beaten out of a playoff spot (Phoenix), the team that beat them out (Dallas) would take their place in the match up.

Turns out that the way it works is that anyone who finishes in a playoff spot but doesn't finish in one of the top 3 spots is a wild card team. This means that since St. Louis will likely finish with the best record, they will play the wild card team with the second best record (most likely Phoenix or Dallas) and San Jose or the Ducks will play Minnesota.

I like this match up option for us better (L A or Minnesota).

At this point it doesn't matter who we play. Might be a one and done team yet again. No spark in this team right now. Hiller looks horrible.

Hiller gave up two soft goals. I used to love him, but he's completely soured on me.

Stoked to see Gibson finally get his debut. At the old age of 20. Expectations are so high for him tonight it'll be hard for him to meet them.

The more I watch Robidas play, the more I like that trade.

Robidas is excellent.  I can't imagine where this team would be right now without him considering they are down Fowler and Fistric, it could be scary right now.  We would be seeing Yonkman and Sbisa every day.

Great debut.  Ducks D really stepped it up against a lethargic Calgary attack.  Gibson reminds me of a bigger version of Fasth.  He never looked rattled or stressed.

I wonder if Anderson isnt cleared to play if they will go with Gibson over Hiller

I think Hiller is in net Wednesday even if Anderson is ready to go.  My feeling is the Ducks are going to ride Hiller for the playoffs, the others don't have enough experience.  Hopefully we can clinch the division tomorrow and get some guys some rest before the playoffs start up next week.

Hope you're wrong, Bob. Andersen has proven to be lights out in the big games this season. At this point, I ride the ginger all the way. Hiller hasn't proved in the last month he even deserves consideration.

i think Hiller should go tonight as a test to see how he performs against another top team. If he struggles, then I run Andersen out there for the last couple of games and start him in the playoffs. If he fails, you can always go back to Hiller.
