I remember analysts knocking on the Ducks for taking Lindholm at #6 instead of Dumba who ended up at #7 with Minnesota.

Minnesota also took Grandlund a few picks ahead of Fowler.

Lindholm has been great.  It says a lot when BB will put him out there with another rookie Dman.

 

Outside of Sbisa the D has been very solid.  I suppose that Vatanen has been a bit inconsistent too.

Vatanen makes up for his inconsistency though. I'm okay with his growing pains. Hampus is on an entirely different level though. Love this guy.

Good news for the future. The salary cap is going up to 71 million next season. Got some extra cash to get a few pieces.

Yep.  Makes the money spent on Getz/Perry that much better.

 

Can't say enough how good the PPG line has been this year.  After struggling to find a second winger on that line, getting Penner has paid off huge.

 

Anyone else notice how Cogliano has been flying around the ice lately?  I think him on a line with Perreault and Silfverberg would be amazing.

Getz and Perry's deals now look like a bargain. I said it on twitter last night, but I can't remember a line that was this effective. Even the prime RPG line was never close to this. Amazing to watch this line out there.

 

Cogs has been the best non PPG line player on the team. Looks like hes even faster this year. Amazing!

@AnaheimDucks #NHLDucks Perreault, Beauchemin and Silfverberg all improving. Each player said after practice they hope to play soon.

 

 

Can't wait for everyone to get healthy...this team is going to be scary good!

This team is so deep. Vatanen is probably going to be sent down for Silfverberg.

Silfverberg will make this team have two scary scoring lines. Can't wait to get healthy! Just think, D has looked better of late, and Souray still hasn't played yet. Who's out when he comes back? Can't bench Lindholm can they? Hopefully Sbisa becomes the healthy scratch every night.

Potter gets two games for his hit on Bonino.  I am assuming if Bonino got actually hurt he would have gotten a bigger suspension.

Only Jackman and Fistric were scratches on Sunday on the official scorecard. Vatanen is the only guy who can be sent down without being put on waivers. Sucks, but that's what we gotta do. Steckel, Grant, and Yonkman were sent down before the Oilers game.
