Worst all-time record is a lock.  There are only 30 games to go and a trade deadline looming in 8 days that should have us losing Pau Gasol, at the very least.  We currently are sitting in the #5 draft pick slot, but breathing down Sac-towns neck for the #4 position.  Orlando is playing quite a bit better of late so there is still a chance we can slide down one more spot.  Philly is pretty horrid so that isn't likely.

The drive for top 5 finish continues after tonight.
Really only Milwaukee, Orlando, and Philly look out of reach, especially if they decide to keep Bryant out longer.

Next step: trading Gasol and hopefully getting an earlier enough 1st round pick to take LaVine with.

Then they can focus on hoping for a good lottery result, and then being able to draft Embiid with their first pick.

They have a handful of players that could have some late first round pick value to the right team. I would assume even a guy like Kaman would strengthen the bench of a playoff team like Indiana or Miami. Or Blake for a team looking for a tough back up point guard for the playoffs.

Okay Jimmy Bob, nothing good comes from keeping Gasol at this point.   He's too old to re-sign, and there are noooo playoffs this season.    Get the freaking trade DONE!    Even if it's only one draft pick and an expiring contract.

Stop holding out for multiple picks!   Just STOP it!

He's gonna screw it up by holding out for the Phoenix #1 that they receive from Washington (around #17) instead of just taking Phoenix's pick or the Indiana pick.  Seems like there is alot of time-wasting going on right now, especially with Cleveland.  Why even hold a discussion with those idoits?

There's noooo way that the Lakers have enough to trade for Love anyway.

Wait 16-17 months, and then sign him.

In the meantime, sign Lance Stephenson after this season, hopefully get lucky in the lottery and draft Embiid, trade Gasol for Phoenix's regular 1st round pick and hopefully have LaVine still available in the draft with that pick, and then sign Love after the 2014-15 season.

Jimmy Bob is a real idiot, if he thinks Phoenix will just basically return all of those draft picks given to them in the Nash trade.

The Lakers have traded Steve Blake to the Warriors in exchange for Kent Bazemore and Marshon Brooks, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Lakers are in all-out sell mode and are looking to deal pretty much anything they can. Blake was outstanding for the Lakers this season while the team was extremely shorthanded, but his minutes will take a major hit on his new team. His owners can basically cut him everywhere.

No one pissed me off on the Warriors more than Bazemore. He thinks he's way better than he actually is.

Brooks could be a steal for the Lakers, though.
