DETROIT – David Eckstein and Shawn Wooten each had four hits, Brad Fullmer and Troy Glaus homered and the Angels beat the Detroit Tigers, 6-3, in a rainout makeup game before 18,546 at Comerica Park.

The win moved the Angels to within 2 ½ games of Seattle in the A.L. West.

Angels starter John Lackey (3-2) gave up three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings to get the victory, and Troy Percival pitched a scoreless ninth for his 26th save.
