This morning, our friends at FOCO launched a no hitter bobblehead of Nolan Ryan when he threw his iconic complete game no hitter as a part of the Los Angeles Angels in 1973 against the Detroit Tigers when he allowed only 4 baserunners, all on walks, while striking out 17 batters, the highest total of the season.

Nolan Ryan is portrayed in his throwback home white Angels uniform standing on a pitcher’s mound base with his name and team logo displayed on the decal in the front of the bobblehead. The backdrop of the bobblehead features a “no-hitter” themed Angels scoreboard highlighting that there were 0 runs allowed to make sure there is no question that the no hitter is proudly remembered and commemorated for the Angel great.

You can pre-order yours here: https://www.foco.com/products/nolan-ryan-california-angels-1973-no-hitter-bobblehead

They really missed on the pitching line.

12 Ks instead of 17

30 Batters faced instead of 31

That was the pitching numbers for his first no hitter in 1973 vs the KC Royals on 5/15/1973. Looks like @Chuck got his information wrong. The Tigers no hitter was 2 months later on July 15th.

Ah, I saw the comment about Norm Cash and thought it was for the Detroit game 7/15/1973.

They should have a Norm Cash bobblehead, with him swinging a table leg, as a complimentary piece to go with the Ryan bobblehead.

that was no hitter #2 two months later in detroit.
