I've said this before, as have others, but the Garcia signing, even at a little over $4M, was the strangest move the Angels made in the off-season.  There was simply no reason to sign him.  Any number of sub-$1M guys (including some in the Angels' own system) could give you similar or better production.

Yeah it never really made much sense. Dude should be thanking his agent for somehow getting him $4M

3 in a Row but can't afford to get cocky beating up on the Marlins.   The Halos looked like a Tier 4 team in Baltimore.  Marlins are Tier 6

Now focus on the sweep. No reason to not kick them when they're down. But that's what Baltimore thought too.

That was what we were hoping for last season. He pitched an excellent game. If he can go out and replicate this performance that will be huge.
