saw the leader board this morning and it looked like a korn ferry tour event.

Ben Kohles missed an easy putt that would have sent him to a playoff. Easy as pie and he blew it.

Rory is so locked in at the Wells Fargo while Xander is falling apart. Five shot lead for Rory with only a few holes to go.

Rory just holed out from the bunker for an eagle! Eight under over the last eight holes!

This is some of the best golf I've ever seen him play.

xander isn't a finisher. he could easily have 5-8 more wins, but sundays aren't a good day for him.

-9 under 62 is a phenomenal round, but he did have the benefit of going out early.  Possibly looking at some weather coming in tomorrow.

ESPN said Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world who was to start the second round at 8:48 a.m., drove past a police officer in his SUV with markings on the door indicating it was a PGA Championship vehicle. The officer screamed at him to stop and then grabbed onto the car until Scheffler stopped about 10 yards later.

Scheffler was booked at 7:28 a.m. — about 2 1/2 hours before he was scheduled to start his second round. Police said he was booked for second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer directing traffic.

Sounds a little overblown on the charges.

According to ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington, who witnessed the incident, Scheffler was trying to drive around the crash scene on a median. A police officer instructed Scheffler to stop, but Scheffler continued to drive about 10 to 20 yards toward the entrance.

At one point, an officer attached himself to the side of Scheffler's car. Scheffler stopped his car as he turned into the entrance of Valhalla Golf Club.

After about 20 to 30 seconds, Scheffler rolled down his window to talk to the officer. The officer grabbed Scheffler's arm to pull him out of the vehicle, according to Darlington. The officer reached inside the vehicle to open the door, and once Scheffler was pulled out, he was pushed against the car and placed in handcuffs.

Darlington was standing at the entrance when Scheffler was detained. Darlington said Scheffler turned to him and asked, "Can you help?"

According to Darlington, an officer instructed him to back away.

Cop grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the car, then threw him up against the side, according to ESPN.

And why was the cop hanging on to car? Is that police procedure? Scottie might consider himself lucky that he wasn't shot.
