Realistically it was over after getting swept by the padres and dodgers going into the break. The playing of shitty teams right before the trade deadline gave them false hope. Angels fans were at an all time high after that Detroit series before everything came violently crashing back to earth.

tying the game and sending it to extras was just to make the series hurt even more by giving us false hope. Baseball gods have their magnifying glasses out just laughing their asses off watching the angels burn to the ground.

Both teams had the same strike zone today.  Mariners took advantage of it, Angels didn't.

And if you want to do the "screwed" narrative, then the Mariners got screwed in the 10th when Rodriguez was called out at 3rd, since his foot didn't look like it ever actually came off the bag.

The Angels lost.  It's not a conspiracy.

They are better and younger but they won’t make the playoffs either. They don’t play the angels every day. But I bet they wish they could . Mariners are pretenders. Angels were bullshit pretenders.
