At some point this Ohtani, Sandoval, Detmers, Canning, Silseth rotation is bound to click. If it does they are capable of going on a solid run. It’s been a struggle all year and I don’t get why 

They have the talent and we all know what the offense is capable of… 45-17 run to end the year, please lord

Anderson has also pitched better the past month.

This is an important game. A sweep will be the biggest morale boost since the Texas series. And hopefully a chance to get on a hot streak through the homestand and maybe, beyond. 

Silseth has good stuff, but is really raw. Coming up to face the Yankees will be a challenge. New York is having a bad road trip and will be under pressures of their own.

What do you do with Anderson. If halos win a few more games should they use 5 man rotation?

As AO pointed out above, Anderson is doing better so if anyone misses starts it’s likely Barria.

After Silseth starts today, they won't need a 6th starter until August 1st versus the Braves.

 I'm just not feeling it with Silseth. He seems to me to be a better reliever than starter.

Hope I'm wrong but I look for him to have trouble with the Yanks tonight.

Well, if they aren’t sure he’s going to be good they could trade him this year for sure.

Silseth made some changes while in AAA, but my concern is that he hasn’t pitched in two weeks due to how his starts aligned and the All-Star break.
