Just got done chatting with someone who has followed baseball a long time and covers the Salt Lake Bees daily. He's pretty rough at 1B and his bat has gone cold too. 

.171/.268/.371 with 16 K's in 9 games this month. 

All I'm saying, is Taylor Ward made a game saving dig last night, and it may not be the worst thing if he took over as a semi-regular first baseman. It opens up regular starts at leadoff against RHP for Moniak and allows Nevin to use Urshela in a utility role.

I am open to any creative plan to improve on Walsh’s bat in the lineup.  He is terrible.
