I'm not saying that they shouldn't have brought him in.  Again, I'm just curious how he became the guy to bring in in these circumstances, as opposed to some other random position player on the Rays and now Angels.

Dude, I don't know why you're getting so riled up about this.  Again: I am in no way suggesting that they shouldn't have brought him in.  It's just a little trivial tidbit that I'm curious about.

This started with pulling Detmers after 4, pen did ok but you went extras last night. Wantz and Tepera were great, and would’ve been great in innings 6-9 instead of 5-8. 
 

Also Davidson is throwing nothing but hittable balls in appearance after appearance. Time to cut bait. Move on.
